JOB: Installer/Fitters Mate
Harworth, Doncaster

40 Hours per week – Monday to Friday
Hourly rate depending on experience after probationary period

The Role

Regionally based role – travelling to various sites with regular overnight stays.
Working daily within a small team
Working alongside and assisting Install Lead with the installation and maintenance work.
Assisting in the preparation of ground for installation and/or removal of decommissioned products.
Moving materials, ensuring all materials are available and suitably located for use.
Competent in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Ensuring safe, clean and tidy working.
Removal of debris ensuring site left as found.
Carrying out several jobs as requested and trained to do by the Lead.
Undertake on-the-job training and external training provision where required.

SALES ENGINEER

JOB: SALES ENGINEER
Home Working/Dedicated Office Day

40 Hours per week
Salary depending on experience

The Role

Carry out customer site meetings to understand their needs, ensuring all appointments are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Advising customers of the correct product selection to ensure we meet their requirements from both a specification perspective and programme point of view.
Be responsible for obtaining detailed surveys in a timely manner for all of the Transdek product range.
Ensure that any site documentation is accurately completed and processed in a timely manner.
Be responsible for the preparation of quotations, proposals and tenders to accurately reflect the customer’s needs. Compiling to the agreed pricing structures and managing the tender processes.
Ensure that the customer receives accurate feedback on any proposals and this is communicated verbally or written as requested.
Be responsible for recording of any quotations and communications within the company’s systems.
Establish effective relationships with customers and follow up against agreed contract deliverables to ensure the desired outcomes are being achieved.
Ensure there is a strong connection with the projects team to ensure the sales handover from start to finish runs smoothly.
Ability to liaise and work with all departments on an on going basis.
As and when required assist with pre-start and liaise with the relevant departments and customer representatives.
Be responsible at all times for adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and Quality Management System.
Carry out other duties, as requested.

Environment

Do you have?

Lift Industry/Industry specific experience or equivalent experience ie. loading bays, hydraulics.
Proven customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal skill-set.
Full clean driving licence..
Ability to work under pressure.
Proficient with Word/Excel and software CRM packages.
Sales experience would be desirable.
Knowledge of working in construction would be desirable.
Electrical qualification.
HNC/HND Engineering based qualification.
Knowledge of SLA’s and contract management would be advantageous.

The Role

MIG Welding / Fabrication of parts and assemblies from CAD/Technical drawings. Weld classification to EN1090.
Cutting and preparation of large steel profiles.
Marking, positioning, and welding of steel parts.
Ability to decipher and accurately interpret CAD Technical drawings to enable you to manufacture product.
