Designed for the fast, safe movement of goods between different levels in a loading bay or warehouse, the dock lift from Hörmann Transdek offers unrivalled lift safety and reliability. Supplied as a modular, surface mounted unit that can be fitted straight onto the floor of a warehouse or yard in less than half a day, the dock lift provides an instant goods lift solution.
With a linear lifting speed on average 2 to 3 times faster than a conventional scissor lift, the Hörmann Transdek dock lift is constructed with a steel section superstructure and is supplied as a robust, single plug-and-play pre-tested unit. A fixed, integrated lead-on ramp enables products to be wheeled straight on and off the lift platform, with an auto-bridging plate automatically locating to the upper floor level for safe and efficient operation. A single-ram hydraulic system guarantees long-term, reliable operation and low maintenance.
Ensuring the safe movement of goods and operator protection, the lifts feature a range of standard safety equipment including dual-hand positive press lift controls, safety rails and light beam exclusion zones. For vehicle loading applications traffic lights, wheel guides, bollards and bumpers are available. Dock lifts can also be supplied pre-clad for external operations offering improved operator comfort and preventing product damage.
Hörmann Transdek dock lifts are CE or UKCA marked and built in conformity with BS/EN standards, The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC & The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008. They are supplied in three sizes, with 2, 4 or 6 pallet versions being available.
